## Revenue Verification

Startups verify revenue by connecting their payment provider API key:
- LemonSqueezy (primary)
- Stripe
- Polar

Revenue is fetched hourly, normalized to monthly (MRR), and displayed publicly with a verified badge. With several providers connected, MRR is their sum; providers billing in different currencies are not combined. Stripe connects only with a live restricted (read-only) key; secret keys are rejected. Claiming an existing listing requires publishing a token file on the startup's website and connecting the payment account that bills it.

The verified badge is computed from the connection itself: a startup is verified only while every active provider connection has synced successfully in the last 72 hours. Figures that are not backed by a connection are labelled "self-reported" with the date they were last edited. ShowMRR supports 3 providers today; TrustMRR lists 11 (https://trustmrr.com/faq).
